Undifferentiated Carcinoma of the Submandibular Salivary Gland

Two cases of an undifferentiated carcinoma of the submandibular salivary glandare described. In both cases, the tumour were asymptomatic in the early stage, and were characterised by a rapid and aggressive growth. One patient died during actinotherapy five months after presentation, the second patient is well 5 months after radical surgery and postoperative actinotherapy.
