Následky úrazů dočasných zubů

Úrazy zubů postihují děti nejčastěji v raném věku. Epidemiologické studie vykazují asi 30% frekvenci úrazů dočasné dentice. Úzký vztah mezi kořeny dočasných zubů a zárodky stálých zubů způsobuje, že je úraz snadno přenášen na stálý zub a vede k vývojovým změnám ve stálé dentici. Prevalence následků na stálých nástupcích po úraze jejich předchůdců bývá mezi 12 - 74 %.

Sequelae of Dental Trauma in the Primary Dentition

Dental traumatic injuries are very common and occur frequently in children at an early age. Epidemiological studies have shown a frequency of approximately 30% of primary dentition that is affected by trauma. The close relationship between the apices of primary teeth and germs of the permanent successors can lead to developmental disturbances in the permanent dentition. Development disturbances in permanent teeth caused by trauma in their predecessors have a prevalence that ranges from 12 -74%.
