Surgery of Internal Disorders and Osteoarthritis of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ)

In the submitted paper we present two surgical procedures for treatment of internal disorders end osteoarthritis of the TMJ, arthroscopy and arthrotomy. Indications procedures their advantages and post-operative care are described. Due to the unknown etiology we prefer a less invasive approach using arthroscopy, and we indicate arthrotomy for more advanced stages and when simpler methods fail.
