Antibiotics in Maxillofacial Surgery

In conjunction with a better antibiotic policy the authors recommend a maximally etiological antibiotic therapy based on preoperative cultivation and assessment of sensitivity. They draw attention to the fact that antibiotic treatment combining two or three preparationsis not permissible if there was an opportunity to identify the probable microbiological agent intime.
