Current Opinions about Hydroxyapatite-coated Dental Implants (Review)

Coated implants are distinguishable by several advantages in a short term viewbut many author cost doubt upon there long-term effectiveness. Evaluating information published in scientific sources, the authors agreed on the fact that the quality of the hydroxyapatite coating is insufficiently explored and that the contemporary standard of since doesn't warrant to pronounce definitive judgement. It is necessary to take in consideration that effort to discreditation of coated implant have considerable commercial background.
