The authors analyze the problem of dental treatment of patients with diseases of the oesophagus, stomach and bowels. They draw attention to the main risks, changes in the oral cavity and entire orofacial area, the contribution of these changes to the diagnosis of the basic disease. They also mention possible contraindications of drugs and some modifications of current dental treatment.
