Overdentures

Overdenture is used as one of the reconstructive treatment methods for patients with residual teeth. Considering many advantages this method becomes relatively frequent alternative of prosthodontic treatment. This report discusses different kinds of overdentures, their indications, compares them with partial and total removable dentures and touches relations between overdentures and periodontium and briefly refers to their working procedure and a care of them.
