The author presents the results of the clinical study focussed on a difference of the extraction socket healing between the group of health patients and the group of health-compromised patients. During last two years 184 teeth in 109 patients were extracted. The author traced the frequency of healing complications in both groups of patients according to the local wound dressing. The results of the study show that the number of complications in both groups were almost the same and that there is no reason to be anxious about health-compromised patients, if sufficient cautiousness and lege artis procedures are observed.
