In the year 19220 - 90 years ago - Jan Jesenský, professor of dentistry and stomatology realized the transformation of "dental ambulatory" in "dental department" - integral part of Faculty of Medicine in Prague. New founded institute had not only sections for all specialities of dentistry but also maxillo-facial section for patients' hospitalisation. Paper describes excellent pedagogical activities of Jesenský and his scientific work, concerned on jaws traumatology and comparative anatomy of teeth.

Introduction: In the last twenty years we can observe in modern society significant increase of fruit juices and carbonated soft drinks consumption. The most of them besides water and different additives contain citric, phosphoric and carbonic acids. The pH of these beverages is usually lower than 4.0.
