In the submitted paper the author describes his experience with treatment of symptomatic pain in patients treated on account of malignomas at the in-patient department of the Second Dental Clinic in Brno. It is important to assess the character of pain, to selectsuitable therapy and administer drugs at the proper intervals and in appropriate amounts.
