Bonded Amalgam Filling - Part II
- Výzkumný ústav stomatologický VFN, Praha, přednosta doc. MUDr. O. Krejsa, CSc.
The work follows up in the previous article published in this journal (2/1999). The authors inform about clinical and laboratory evaluation of bonded and non-bonded amalgam restorations up to six years of clinical service. 75 bonded and 62 non-bonded amalgam restorations and 11 seals were evaluated using modified USPHS criteria. In-vitro evaluation has compared marginal steps to a standard set of Simulated restorations, and calculated the Index of Marginal Fracture. Statistical analysis of clinical and laboratory results showed nosignificant differences between both techniques.
