Guided Tissue Regeneration of the Periodontium and its Place in Orthodontic Treatment

The tase-history describes the methodical procedure of orthodontic treatment by a fixed device in an adult patient with a diastema between the upper middle incisors after guided tissue regeneration of the periodontium. Guided tissue regeneration is one of the possible therapeutic procedures in adult patients with the diagnosis of periodontitis. After termination of treatment with a fixed appliance permanent retention of the achieved state is essential.
