ART technique belongs to the minimal invesive approach in caries treatment. The principle of this technique is described, indications and contraindications are listed and conditions required for this type of treatment are mentioned. The main part of this issue deals with the ART procedure. At the end, ART technique and other methods used in dental caries treatment are compared.
