P. Bradna, M. Dudek, A. Roubíčková, M. Mikšovský, R. Vrbová, D. Houšová

Čes. stomatol. Prakt. zub. lék. (Czech Dental Journal) 2008; 108(5): 109-116

A shear bond strength and fractography analysis was used to evaluate reliability of nine total- and self-etching adhesives OptiBond FL, Gluma Comfort Bond, Prime&Bond NT, AdheSE, Adper Prompt, Adper Prompt L-Pop, Clearfil SE Bond, Xeno III and iBond. A critical bond strength at which 10 % samples failed was used as a measure of the adhesive reliability. Significant differences in reliability and also in mode of their fracture were found between total- and self-etching systems and also in adhesives in these groups. The highest reliability and mixed mode of fracture were found with group of classical total-etch 3- and 2-step adhesives OptiBond FL...

Čes. stomatol. Prakt. zub. lék. (Czech Dental Journal) 2008; 108(5): 122-128

Objective: the study aimed to isolation of dental pulp stem cells (DPSC), determination of proliferative and differentiation potential and observation of morphological changes and viability of DPSC cultured in vitro. Methods: the authors used a total of 16 DPSC cell lines isolated from the third molars. The cells were cultured in a modified medium for mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) enriched with growth factors (EGF, PDGF), 2% FCS and ITS supplement. For the determination of quantitative parameters and cell viability the Vi-Cell XR and Z2 Counter were used. Results: Enzyme dissociation of the complete dental pulp provided...
